Jan Snel was commissioned by I Love Vols to build two housing complexes containing a total of 461 residential units for students in Vaals, a city in the Dutch province of Limburg that’s only 3.5 kilometres from the university town of Aachen, Germany.
Vaals, the NetherlandsA complex containing 250 residential units was completed first, and a second opened its doors two years later. In addition to fully equipped units (each with a private bathroom, toilet and kitchenette), the buildings also contain several common rooms.
