Construction of Nieuw Welgelegen commences: homes for seniors in Rozenburg

Daiwa House Modular Europe has commenced the construction of 44 new homes for seniors in partnership with Ressort Wonen housing association. These modern 3-room apartments are being constructed along Welgelegen in Rozenburg. The homes are expected to be ready for residents in the second quarter of 2022.

The homes for seniors are being produced in our own factory and then assembled further onsite. This makes the whole building process considerably more sustainable and the housing units meet the needs of all (prospective) residents. One of the former residents officially opened the start of construction; she installed the first module together with a crane operator.
