Sustainable building

A clean world without wastefulness

That is our sustainable ambition. We combine decades’ worth of experience and expertise in the form of our sustainable housing solutions. Sustainability is incredibly important to us, because the ideal living environment should be circular and clean. With its industrialised modular building method, Daiwa House Modular Europe contributes to that living environment. This process begins during the design phase.

During every other stage of the building process, our challenge is to create value as well. We do this by e.g. using and reusing sustainable resources and materials. This approach allows us to preserve their value and create added value for clients, future residents and the world around us.

Sustainable building: from design to delivery and beyond

We are well on the way towards realising our sustainable ambitions. Analyses show that our modular building method and the measures we have taken with regard to circularity have already resulted in a fifty-percent reduction of our carbon emissions, compared to traditional building methods. That is important for future residents as well. After all, a healthy living environment and comfort are essential to allow them to realise their dreams. For that reason, our focus is on the residents from the very beginning of the design phase.

We strive to utilise sustainable measures, applications and installations. These range from self-generated power for heating, ventilation, warm water and lighting to insulating the prefabricated shell and using sustainable finishing materials. Our work does not end when we deliver our housing solutions. Once they have reached the end of their life cycle, we will reuse the materials for other purposes. This is done to keep losses to an absolute minimum.

Realising dreams with sustainable building

The added value of our building method is evident when you look at our circular, reusable and moveable housing solutions. For the client, this means greater flexibility and an attractive ROI. It is even possible to modify the residences in the interim. For residents, the added value mostly comes from the comfort and the sustainable installations that the residences have to offer. These various benefits have one thing in common: all resources, materials and activities have the smallest possible impact on the local environment and on nature.
