Daiwa House Group and Medexs opt for independent focus

15 Apr 2025

Daiwa House Group and Medexs have decided after consultation to focus their efforts on their own specialism’s. This enables both organizations to serve their unique customer groups in an even more targeted and specialized manner with the associated individual requirements, qualities and wishes.

In Europe, Daiwa House Group operates with three operating companies:

  1. Daiwa House Modular Europe focuses on permanent modular housing construction on housing associations, project developers and investors.
  2. Jan Snel focuses on the rental and sale of buildings for education, offices, industry and government through unit construction.
  3. Medexs realises qualified buildings for the medical sector, such as complete hospitals, operating theatres, clinics, ICs, MRI and clean rooms.

While Daiwa House Modular Europe and Jan Snel work with industrially and serially manufactured modules that have a high degree of standardisation, Medexs mainly supplies high-quality custom work for its customers, which is difficult to standardise due to technological complexity. This difference in specialist standardization versus customization, is the reason for the strategic decision to operate as independent organizations from 15 April 2025, with a continued focus on quality and collaboration where necessary.

Daiwa House Group and Medexs will continue to act as preferred suppliers to each other for future assignments where expertise and realization from both disciplines is necessary.
