What matters most in our ESG governance
To ensure transparency in ESG governance, Daiwa House Modular Europe conducts a structured materiality assessment and risk analysis. We identify the environmental, social and governance topics that have the greatest impact on our organisation, on people and on the environment, assessing both internal and external ESG risk factors. Risk analysis is ongoing and informed by market developments and engagement with experts, clients, subcontractors and suppliers. This structured approach enables us to prioritise material ESG topics and address them through targeted policies, programmes and internal controls.
Why governance matters for housing partners
For housing associations, local authorities and other stakeholders and partners, governance is directly linked to risk, reliability and long-term asset performance. It provides the foundation for responsible growth and sustainable delivery. Clear structures, defined responsibilities and transparent reporting reduce risk, strengthen accountability and support informed decision-making. This is essential when delivering permanent-quality housing at scale. Strong governance offers predictability, consistency and confidence, ensuring projects are delivered responsibly, performance remains measurable and long-term value is protected.
And this is how we create value
Solid perfomance
Sustainable growth strengthens both shareholder and stakeholder value. Our long-term continuity supports stable employment and the reliable delivery of permanent-quality modular homes for local communities.
Safe & engaged people
We are committed to the safety and well-being of our people. Through innovation, training and a controlled factory environment, we continuously improve working conditions and product quality.
Flexible & efficient solutions
We develop, manufacture and deliver modular homes where and when they are needed. Our industrialised construction method increases efficiency, shortens delivery time and improves cost predictability.
Circular value chain
We are committed to a sustainable and circular value chain. We take responsibility for materials and energy use, promote reuse and recycling, and collaborate with partners to reduce environmental impact.
Sustainability across environment, society and governance

Environmental
We reduce environmental impact through industrialised modular construction, circular material use and lower CO₂ emissions. Our ambition is to minimise waste and build homes with permanent quality and reduced environmental footprint.
Social
